A section for queer stories presented by queer filmmakers creating short films across fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental cinema. The section celebrates stories that centre LGBTQIA+ lives, identities, love, joy, and resistance without compromise.
Curated by a jury deeply connected to queer culture and cinema, this programme creates space for voices that deserve to be seen not at the margins, but at the heart of the festival.
ABOUT THE LOGOThe identity draws its silhouette from the sikku kolam, whose looping is non-linear and interconnected paths reflect journeys that are not straight. At its centre, two hearts come together as a quiet expression of connection, love, and belonging. Rendered in the colours of the transgender flag, the palette celebrates the diversity, visibility, and resilience of the queer community.
